Sitata monitors social sources and global news to present you with real-time data so that you can make the best travel decisions. Delays or cancellations will inevitably occur when traveling, especially now, with ever-changing Covid updates and restrictions. Sitata can help you keep up to date about anything that might disrupt your trip. Based on your exact location or itinerary, you will get information about transit strikes, disease outbreaks, or violence that may lead to delays or cancellations.

It operates like a subscription; once you choose a start date, your insurance will automatically extend after 28 days until you decide to cancel. The subscription is $40 for 28 days. This subscription includes up to two children who are under two years of age.
Visiting your home country is covered. After spending 90 days abroad, you get to keep the medical coverage for 30 days in your home country if something happens while visiting home. If your home country is the US, you will keep the medical coverage for 15 days.

SafetyWing introduced a new plan covering Coronavirus disease like any other illness. The policy is useful for more than three months now. It began on August 1, 2020.
Testing for Covid-19 is covered only when a physician directs so. However, the antibody test is not covered since it is not medically necessary. For those who have active plans before August 1, an upgrade is required for Covid-19 coverage. While those who don't have any plan yet and are interested in signing up, the Covid-19 coverage is automatically included.
